Day 1 : Arrival Chiang Mai – Doi Suthep Temple – Kantoke Dinner
Meet our guide at the airport and today, head half-way up Doi Suthep – the mountain that towers over the city of Chiang Mai – to find the highly-revered Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. In the evening, get a taste of what makes northern Thai food distinctive and famous even among Thailand’s iconic cuisine.
Day 2: Thai Farm cooking class
Escape from the bustling city for a day. Come learn how to prepare and cook a Thai meal while enjoying the relaxing non-touristy countryside. You will be able to see many different kinds of organic herbs, vegetables and fruits. You will be given the opportunity to pick some of the fresh ingredients that you will use while preparing your favorite dishes in one of our spacious well equipped kitchens.
Day 3: One full day experience with elephants
You will meet the elephants and practice using commands to ride and control the elephants. Then, we will take your elephants for a ride around the forest. We will have lunch in the forest. All leftovers can go to the elephant so nothing is wasted, and no trash is left behind!
Day 4: Chiang Mai – Tha Ton – Mae Kok River – Chiang Rai
Drive up from Chiang Mai and heading to board on boat trip along Kok River, cruise up for 3 – 4 hours along the trip you can enjoy sightseeing the local life of Lahu & Akha Hill Tribe. Arrival in Chiang Rai and enjoy your free time at the resort in Chiang Rai.
Day 5: Chiang Rai – White temple – the Golden Triangle
Get picked up from your hotel to begin your tour at Wat Rong Khun, known as the White Temple. This unique temple is white with small glass pieces that shimmer in the sun, representing the purity and wisdom of the Buddha. Continue to the Golden Triangle view point, the famous area where three countries (Thailand, Laos and Burma) meet. Venture down Mekong, sit back on the boat and enjoy spectacular views along the Laos countryside from the river before heading back to take flight to your next destination.
